The EDW QA Engineer will be responsible for validating ETL processes, data integrity, and reports, while working closely with development, data engineering, and business intelligence teams to maintain high data quality standards and who has a strong background in QA processes, data validation, and test automation in a data warehouse environment.
You?ll the subject matter expertise on MMIS & CMS and provide technical problem solving and deep solution expertise to the customer and Development teams. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and help to drive the cloud strategy.

Work closely with data engineers, ETL developers, and business analysts to understand requirements, identify potential data quality issues, and suggest improvements.
Provide regular QA reports and analysis, identifying risks and areas for improvement in data quality processes.
Analyze user needs and test software solutions using agile methodology.
Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data.
Conduct data validation and reconciliation across different sources and the EDW to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Lead co-ordination and execution of release testing as appropriate
Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts
Define Release Test Plans and criteria for user acceptance including entry/exit criteria
Develop, update and maintain quality testing standards and procedures
Assist in the planning, creation and control of the test environment(s)
Follow standard testing methodology frameworks, testing processes as a standard
Co-ordinate testing specific release activities
Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts
Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) pate in structured walk-through and peer reviews
Participate in the coordination and execution of release testing
Identify defects and questionable functionality; manage defects through to closure
Resolve issues with unclear requirements and achieve a successful result
Triage and solve complex problems using structured troubleshooting methodologies
Quick learner, work independently as well as work collaboratively in a team environment
Basic Qualifications for Consideration
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent working experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in data warehouse management or operations. Proven QA experience in managing large-scale data warehouse projects
Minimum of 5 years" experience supporting a State Medicaid Agency
Must have domain experience in one or more of these areas in State Healthcare background.
